Cummins India’s In-plant Warehouse at Pithampur engaged with CII WAREX 2.0 to benchmark and elevate its warehouse operations, progressing from a Silver High rating of 552.65 points in Phase 1 to Gold High at 687 points in Phase 2 — a 134-point leap driven by targeted interventions including deployment of an in-house material picking application, inventory optimisation, and enhanced supplier planning, collectively improving OTIF to 99.61%, halving order processing time, and lifting automation coverage to 65%.
